Amor Eterno: Día de los Muertos Omaha
We’re excited to bring Omaha a brand new, free, family-friendly celebration at Elmwood Park honoring the tradition of Día de los Muertos. Together, we will create a space filled with music, danza folklórica, mariachi, food, art, and community remembrance. At the heart of the event will be a Community Ofrenda, where families are invited to bring photos, flowers, or small offerings for their loved ones. The evening will also include the Camino de Luz y Recuerdos, a candlelit walk symbolizing memory, love, and unity. Amor Eterno is more than a festival; it’s a time for Omaha’s comunidad to come together in remembrance and also to stand in solidarity with immigrant families, honoring the past while holding space for the struggles and hopes of today.
